You’ve seen Nicole Kidman in Days of Thunder, To Die For, and Moulin Rouge; you may not have known that she is an award-winning humanitarian.  Since 1994, she has been a Goodwill ambassador for UNICEF Australia raising money for and drawing attention to children with disadvantages around the world.  And somehow with great irony, Tom Cruise (her ex-husband) is a profound advocate of the popular cult religion known as Scientology.  A clear indicator for us normal folks that stardom sometimes becomes pop culture insanity.
